ANIGENE Professional Chlorine Tablets are proven to be effective against bacteria, yeasts, fungi, viruses, mycobacteria, spores, and giardia.

Defra and DAERA approved for General Orders, Poultry Orders, Swine Vesicular Disease, and Foot & Mouth Disease, ANIGENE Professional Chlorine Tablets are ideal for use in the event of a Notifiable Disease outbreak.

ANIGENE Professional Chlorine Tablets are compatible with a wide range of materials including plastic, porcelain, rubber, glass and steel. Rinse surfaces and equipment with water after disinfection.

Notifiable Disease Applications

Each tablet liberates 1000 parts per million (ppm) of available chlorine per 1 litre of water.

This disinfectant product has been approved for disinfection of inanimate surfaces where a Defra or DAERA approved product is required to be used under the control legislation for the following specific disease(s) orders:

  • General orders at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Foot and mouth disease at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Swine vesicular disease at the dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
  • Poultry diseases including avian influenza, influenza of avian origin in mammals, Newcastle disease, paramyxovirus at a dilution rate of 1:299 parts water
