Byotrol celebrates volunteerism with sponsorship of the WCNW Young Chamber initiative

Volunteers Week is the perfect time to recognise and celebrate the invaluable contributions of volunteers who dedicate their time, skills, and energy to make a difference in their communities. At Byotrol, one of our core values is responsibility and we strive to make a positive impact on our society and the environment. We encourage our talented team to share their time and expertise to inspire future generations.

West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce – Young Chamber initiative

Byotrol is proud to sponsor the Young Chamber programme by the West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce. The Young Chamber programme helps to bridge the gap between businesses and the education sector, providing invaluable experience and insights to students preparing to leave school and enter further education or the workforce.

Byotrol’s team has committed to supporting the Young Chamber initiative by attending careers days, conducting mock interviews, and encouraging local students in our community to consider a career in science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM) industries.

With a varied cross-functional team comprising of microbiologists, quality and regulatory managers, supply chain experts, formulation chemists, and commercial teams, Byotrol is ideally placed to engage students and demonstrate the many benefits of working for an innovative and dynamic SME.

Making a lasting impact on our community

As a technology company, Byotrol has a vested interest in the development of young talent in the local area. Our new partnership with the West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce enables the team to further develop local scientists and professionals, who might one day come to work in our industry, or in our organisation. Byotrol has a long history of supporting microbiology and virology students to gain access to practical experience in industry, alongside their academic studies.  We welcome the opportunity to inspire future generations to imagine themselves in a future STEM career.

Encouraging colleagues to take part in the Young Chamber volunteering provides many benefits to the business, as well as providing Byotrol employees with invaluable experience to help them develop their careers and feel good about their contribution to our community.

Join us in giving back

Byotrol is committed to supporting and encouraging volunteerism and gives employees time away from their roles to take part in community volunteering. Our dedicated employees are at the forefront of change, demonstrating our core value of responsibility and helping us achieve our vision of a global community safe from infection.

Byotrol’s Head of Marketing, Jane Kiely, was delighted to announce Byotrol’s involvement in the programme, “Byotrol has a wealth of specialist experience and knowledge which will inspire generations of future STEM professionals. As industry thought leaders, we’re well-placed to encourage future scientists, leaders, and professionals into a career in science and technology.”

Debbie Bryce, Chief Executive Officer at West Cheshire & North Wales Chamber of Commerce added “We are delighted to welcome Byotrol as a new Young Chamber sponsor. Byotrol has already shown that they are extremely keen on getting involved with the programme and with more and more students showing an increased interest in STEM subjects over recent years, their expertise in the industry will be a brilliant addition to have at future Young Chamber events.”

At Byotrol, we are immensely proud of our team of volunteers and our sponsorship of the Young Chamber programme. We encourage everyone to take a moment to consider how they can contribute to their communities and nourish future talent in our industry.
